We were introduced to Shady Hill in an earlier episode, as that is whre "The Woman Without a Country" lived before being banished for misbehaving. Lots of misbehavior will be evidenced over the next five days. STAY with me on this!!!

Of the ones in this collection of mine,
"Clancy and the Tower of Babel" is my favorite Cheever story.
